This experimental accessory design project was part of a commission for the talented up-and-coming fashion designer Evren Nelson. Following initial rough sketches provided by the client and inspiration from the revolutionary tubular steel works of the Bauhaus movement, I fabricated an experimental bag design, utilizing mild steel rods in two different sizes. The final prototype graced the runway and is now featured on leading fashion platforms such as Vogue and Hypebeast.
Alongside the final prototype, I have produced renderings and technical drawings for this project. The additional materials, allowed for quick iteration and communication of the dimensions. As well as providing a smooth transition between the initial idea of the client, to the fabrication progress of the project.
